I'll fake this smile just one last time
for this is all i can take
i'll take this blade drag it right and straight
i'll make it a good one just one last time thats all it will take
for on this is the last smile you will ever have to see me fake...

My friend here has portrayed the working class I believe, because it is he who fakes a smile all his life, from appointment to promotion to every year salary increment to until his retirement..

Welcome to YPDC!! You did join!! YaY!! I got this totally, and it's very chilling. When did you compose this one sweetie? Not in the past 24 hrs. since I've talked to you, I hope!?! I like poems that are short and to the point. This one is very short and deep. I can't wait to read more of your writes. Need to talk, you know where to find me. ;o )

All right... very deep. I think that you've captured the very essence of what people are doing these days. You don't show your emotions, you don't let your face betray your thoughts... you keep smiling even when you feel like howling inside. That's what life has become - one big act. I guess that all of life is indeed a stage!

Keep up the great work. Your poems are succint but they convey a lot of meaning.
