Free My Soul
Swinging as high as I can,
Forgetting the darkness,
Reaching out to the sky,
To the clouds of heaven,
Where I want to go.
I fly through the air,
Almost can reach.
Peace is there,
I can feel it as
Calmness settles around me.
I forget the pain.
Only see the light.
Nothing can stop me.
Let my broken soul be free!
I wake up and my life surrounds my soul,
Grasping it and refusing to let go.
Back to reality, to the pain…
Look to the heavens,
They are closing fast.
Until next time,
When for a moment or two,
The light fills up my soul once more,
And the pain is taken away.

your soul is the light... it is what moves you, your body, what you see in the mirror, I will pray for your troubled soul, so you can once again enjoy swinging high in that sky.
