I don’t know how to hide from you
I know that I must try
I don’t want you to go away
So I’ll Just Stay And Lie.
And I can’t stop pretending
That somehow you are mine
I found you, I can’t lose you
I miss you all the time.
From that first day I felt it
The ache within my soul
That part of you, completing me
That took my heart’s control.
But I’m not sure what you feel
Do you see your end with me?
Am I the man you wanted?
Am I all you thought I’d be?
‘Cause I can’t last a moment
Counting seconds as they fly
‘Till I can finally touch you
And never have to say goodbye.
There just aren’t the right words
To tell you how I feel
Maybe ‘cause it’s just too soon
But I know this is real.
It’s never been so strong before
Or happened quite this fast
That I could fall, where I can’t say
I just want this to last.
If only you could figure out
What’s shining in my eye
I’m hiding that I love you
But I’ll Just Stay And Lie.
One day I want to tell you
But more time must go by
Don’t want my love to scare you
So I’ll Just Stay And Lie.
