JEWISH TILL I DIE 1942
Why are common men looking at me?
What do they possibly know?
Soldiers gloat at thee,
Everywhere I go.
Father tries to calm my worry,
Words spat out seemed to sting.
Hatred death in a single breath,
I find that very depressing.
Stern faces are we a disease?
A barrel pointed at my chin.
What was this barbed wire place?
Just how much trouble were we in.
People in so much distress,
What was the truth?
Would we survive the war?
Can I live out thy youth?
Standing by an immense dug pit,
Surly this cant be the end?
Mother Father is that you,
Or is this all pretend.
Almighty God help me out,
As I tumble too my doom.
Darkness comes quickly to thy pith,
How many more will clog this tomb?
