The world is such a desolate
Place
Peoples so apart from each
Other
Never knowing who is
Who
This old desolate world
Fill with lies and illusion
Psychotic and paralyzing
To trust the worthy man
Glimpsing over the rising
Looking for a better concept
In a world filled with lies
That lurk,
Around each corner it wait
To deny any truth
The smiles are tainted
The eyes tell lies,
Deafened ears closed to
All the worlds’ deceit
Faded truths is the world

| makes me think of how everything is not as it seems and being optimistic sometimes just hides the truth. I dont know if thats at all what you were going for but I enjoyed this read. |
