I Can't Live Without

Contributed by joker17 on Saturday, 29th April 2006 @ 08:09:20 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It's never too late to find love
She's proof of that and more
She makes me swallow butterflies
And opened my closed door.

I'd given up and given in
To spend my life alone
But what her voice said to me
Sent fear right through the phone.

She said that she was ready
To see me face to face
For us to take the next step
To see if we’re on pace.

To find true love forever
To see if we’d agree
That we should be together
If we’d have chemistry.

And all it took was one touch
Her head fell to my chest
She held her arms around me
I knew I had been blessed.

My heart was lost completely
But she still doesn’t know
I have to take some time for this
And move on nice and slow.

Cause she is everything to me
All I need in my life
I finally found the one for me
And I’ll make her my wife.

I know she feels the same way
But she won’t say the word
It’s not time for “I love you” yet
But that’s what has occurred.

We feel it stronger every day
And now it’s only time
I know I’ll spend my life with her
And she’ll always be mine.

Could never ask for anymore
I love her without a doubt
And now I know that she’s the one
That I Can’t Live Without.

My poet friend here is extremely optimistic which is a very good thing - for love to bloom in any lone mans life. our poet friend has reviled a lot of desperate verse to depict his depth of love. Friend, I hope and wish your love take notice of this heartwarming poem.
FRANCO
