When angels cry their tears never fade away
But when I cry, I shed tears of blood
For the sorrows of the spirit and the death of the soul
Leaving my clothes stained in the color of a deep red
As blood descends from the sky and the storm that rages in Heaven
Then cries of hell are heard all around the world.
The sun turns to darkness and we come to know night as day
While we see our memories go by on the winds of fate
As I watch blood drips from the Crimson Stigmata.
When angels cry they bring the heavens rain
But when I cry my tears leave red marks on my face
Because I live in a world that is so full of hate
And it seems like such a struggle just to do the right thing become a saint
To endure so much suffering in this God forsaken place
Then in the end all you have left is your faith
So the Angels of Heaven sing for the prayers that I say
As I kiss the blood that drips from the Crimson Stigmata.
