Only for today do I promise,
To give you my love.
To be by your side,
And give you my support.

Only for today do I promise,
To give you my heart.
To be your soul mate,
and give you my friendship.

Only for today do I promise,
To give you my trust.
To give you my faith,
To make myself vulnerable to you.

Only for today do I promise,
To give you my all.
To be here for you,
And do all I can for you.

Only for today do I promise,
To give you all these things.

Because...

Tonight when I lay my head down,
To slumber and twilight,

I cannot promise,
That I will rise with the sun,

To give you my love,
To give you my support,
To give you my heart,
To give you my friendship,
To give you my trust,
To give you my all.

So, only for today, I give you me.
