I never tell anyone
That I cry myself to sleep
Every night I do it
It makes me feel so weak.
I cry for no reason
As I lay here in my bed
I can’t stand the pain
Thoughts of suicide invade my head.
They make me feel selfish
They make me feel bad,
They make me feel depressed
They make me feel sad.
I can’t get to sleep
I just like awake
Staring at the ceiling,
Wondering how much more I can take…
All I want is understanding,
Someone to realize,
How much pain is really
Behind those emotionless eyes…

Good write. And I'm sorry you feel this way. I can relate sometimes. I do know where you're coming from. Best wishes for you and I'm here if you need someone to talk to.

I have been here!
I worked the midnight shift in Miami, FL. Every morning it was the same routine. I would go for a drive on my way home and think about just driving off the bridge as I rounded the curve. I never told anyone. Well, I told my husband and my daughter.
I can relate. Good write....... |
