I often sit thinking alone by the bay,
My mind wanders too dreams, at the break of the day,
A call of a seagull resounds in the sky,
As I sit and sift through the thoughts in my mind,
I try to clarify the questions I ask,
And try to disguise the harshness of facts,
In the vice of emotions, constricted within,
I find comfort in sunlight that touches the skin,
Entranced by the waves that foam upon sand,
Shielding the sunlight with the edge of my hand,
Mindfully gazing in this vastness of blue,
I feel a sense of rebirth as my mind is renewed,
I often sit thinking alone by the bay,
Spending my time here near everyday,
Often I ponder on feelings untold,
As the waters of heartache carry my soul,

Good imagery and introspection. I love nature poetry that illuminates the close relationship that exists between the forces of nature and man. Good write!
