visit in dark

Contributed by welch12 on Friday, 28th April 2006 @ 01:41:29 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

A scar develops no visable wound set deep a hole so black.

Hatred for a childhood home yet loving as it was.
Unwanted now ,or so it seams, a burden on ones life.

Not bitter though cos' other weights deflect a fleeting visit.
No blame is laid by me ,for dark is the path ahead,
and quater century time to leave, and feel release inside.

What a very deep and honest write! it must have been a difficult subject to portray in words. I too have suffered in childhood and the scares always remain, but life goes on.

A very deep and moving write thankyou for keeping it real.

When fear enters inside a tender heart it remains forever like a permanent scare. The words were beautifully complied, though short, but yet conveys the notion of the poet very clearly.
