St. Peter stands at the gate,
Calling your name.
In His hand a book is held,
Proclaiming your fame.

Or does it hold your shortcomings,
Yor achievements few?
What is in that book,
Is all up to you.

Does it tell how you helped your fellow man,
By lending a shoulder, or a helping hand?
Or does it tell how you took when you could,
Doing Satans work, and not the Lords good?

Does it tell how you gave it your all,
Supporting a friend, preventing a fall?
Or does it tell how you turned to sin,
Pulling the rug out from under him?

Does it tell how you made sacrifices,
Not giving in to Satans devices?
Or does it tell how your willpower was weak,
To utter the Lords name, your mouth did not speak.

Does it tell how you stood strong,
By your convictions?
Or does it tell how,
You gave into the worlds addicitions?

So think about what your life will reveal,
Does it have that heavenly appeal?
