Here We Are Now, Entertain Us

Contributed by outsider on Tuesday, 4th February 2003 @ 12:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Knuckles rapped upon the door
Heart already on the floor
Dreadlocks opens up the door
Have u seen her
Oh yes I've seen her.
Here we are now, entertain us.

So I stepped inside the den
They tried to make it seem so zen
Smoke so thick I could have got high then.

Nirvana blasting from the speakers
I feel stupid and contagious
Try upstairs dreadlocks smiles
Here we come now, entertain us.

Bass already thudding on my tortured brain
Each footstep upward driving me insane
Wishing this smoke would take me to a higher plane.

And so I push open the bedroom door
And there you are acting like a ***** whore
And my heart dies in agony and beats no more
Hello
Hello
Hello
How low.

So beautiful, i love it, rhythm and rhyme are excellent, and it flowed well, altogether brilliant.
