Odds are
I wont die
In any way new
In times of redundancy
Conflicts arising
And Conflicts fading temporarily
Again and again
Another situation
To horde our time
And attention
We live and pass on
Without anything changing
Why do I just sit here
Its all that I can do
Looking for something
But settling only for this
My favorite distractions
Whatever it is we do
I hope that you can always be entertained
Because you don’t want to awake
To the real in this world
Don’t let yourself become privy
I wonder if this will be the last time
That we can get by this way

I think the flow to this could be improved - it's a little disjointed. But the theme resonates, especially the last question. How much longer will we be able to live in false worlds of our own making, merely existing, entertained, instead of truly living? It's a sad thing.
Good call.
