Seeking The Lost.

Topic: abstract

Who knows their faces, believes their lies, lost on lifes broken track.

He who seeks to remain untouched yet craves the warmth within,
watches from afar and with a sigh wanders in the dark.

The warmth so close a fingers touch, for a boy with life's ambitions, a man not yet, nor want to be, for fear overcomes him.

A journey from home, a searching quest, but nothing yet defines him, a darkend path seen by his side and memories unwinding.

A boy who seaks his common ground, a child in leaden chains, seeks to find the soul within, but fails and now cries.

for the picture is unseen and now deminished, lost of all prospective, and journeys made and icons seen framed by his one objective.

good write...an honest poem of a young man's quest to grow and be accepted in life...reminds me of years gone by...
