What I Think

The days of my life whirl by in silence.
My thoughts flow through my mind.
I can’t keep up with them.

Thoughts of life and death.
Should I try to survive?
Or give in to the darkness.

I think about my cold, heartless emotions.
Where I got them from.
The darkness is closing
And I finally show my emotion.

By breaking down and crying,
All alone trapped with only my thoughts.
These thoughts will not save me
From the gathering darkness.

For another time I wish I could turn them off,
Erase them, wipe them away.
Fill my mind with happy, musical thoughts.
But they are gone and perhaps were never here.

wow, I liked this a lot...I can definately relate to it. it was pretty dark and pretty sad...this made me feel...something, I'm not exactly sure what, but something. Good job
