Night

Topic: LovePoetry

A black blanket bends light around shapes,
the day breaks as the sun escapes,
a smiling face imprinted upon memories
like the evening light that slowly starts dimming.

A smile that brightens each day,
traces the silver lining from a cloud seemingly grey,
awakens softly whispers of better days
and happy memories that will never fade away.

A day living life in anothers shoes,
experience the pain that's gone through,
every dripping drop of tears,
all the anxiety and fears.

Shining eyes illuminate the path,
a dream too unreal to grasp,
grateful to lessons learned from the past
and loving each day as it's the last.

A light slowly dims as the evening fades away,
unearthly feelings of short lived days,
in appreciation of everything of today,
hopes of the future that's set aside for another day.

Living today as if there's no tomorrow,
solving problems and soothing sorrow,
love remains real as it hiddenly says:
"I will always love you... till the end of my days".
