It was lukewarm at first sight.
Who knows why I can’t say.
I just knew it wasn’t right.
Maybe a case of romantic decay.
Who knows why I can’t say.
Perhaps her interminable drone.
Maybe a case of romantic decay.
Perhaps because she was a crone.
Perhaps her interminable drone.
Her penchant for eating clams.
Perhaps because she was a crone.
That she weighed four hundred kilograms.
Her penchant for eating clams.
Her putrid, wheezy, phlegmy cough.
That she weighed four hundred kilograms.
These things put me off.
Her putrid, wheezy, phlegmy cough.
I just knew it wasn’t right.
These things put me off.
It was lukewarm at first sight.

I understand you were trying to be funny but to me it was not ( I'm not overweight by much ) I just see making jokes at others expense as bad even if they are imaginery. As a poem the words went together well. 4 stars |
