My Quick Fix

When the pain overwhelms again.
When your given a new reason to hate.
A new reason to break down.
I look to my quick fix.
I look to the pain to ease all pains.
There are only two things in this world that clear my head.
That make me for one brief moment feel a content with life.
One is the evil shinny knife and what it makes me do to myself.
The other is a little too private to mention.
But you know the feeling.
When you stop thinking.
And Feeling.
And hurting.
It’s a good feeling, feeling nothing at all.
It used to hurt me,
But now not doing it makes my arms sting and burn with guilt and excitement
For my next quick fix.
