So This is Love

Contributed by Alison on Monday, 24th April 2006 @ 07:17:11 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I knew not how to act,
What to say or how to feel,
This I have never known,
Cleansed; I have been given,
Pure, gentle, without blemish,
Perfect, soft, and surrounding,
My heart is now whole,
Ones coved in blood and tears,
Through one night,
With one kiss,
All was removed,
The grief of the past,
And the unrest of the future,
Melted away,
As hands touched my face,
The questions of why,
Have ceased in my head,
For there can be no pain,
No suffering, no fear,
In this sweet freedom of rest,
With nothing in between,
I’m seen for who and what I am,
What lifts me and carries me to the sky,
With this known,
A word I have never been given in return,
Love, simple and true, Love,
And now I know,
What Love in return is,
To be held through all that comes,
Blissful and with no regret,
One word I now know,
Love, found in freedom,
So this is it,
This is Love.

This is worth a song quote from my favorite artist

"There comes a time in the life of every boy
when only one girl will do
And now the time has come
and i know you're the one
And all that i would ever want is you"

You did a great job writing this

Song quote from "Desire Me" by Sam Cooke
