we had our time in our world
and she loved me all the way through
she took me places I'd never go
we did things I'd never do
She felt my pain
and took it away
I wanted nothing more than to have her stay
If I could watch her grow and company me
to what may stray
I would never let you go
you'd be in my arms to stay
