Nothing To Fear

It’s dangerous, adventurous, and real.
It’s dark and full of shadows, yet still bright.
Close my eyes, breath it in it’s all I feel.
Lightning strikes, then thunder disrupts the night.
Leaves flying, limbs breaking, the wind it howls.
Dangerous treacherous yet I find peace.
Waiting to strike the storm is on the prowl.
Strong, but like anything, it soon will cease.
Eventually clouds will break and depart.
Then the thunder and lightening disappears.
Sun will shine, and put warmth back in my heart.
My sadness is fading, as the sky clears.
Sun’s out, happiness here nothing to fear.
Last drop poetically, with my last tear.
