A PROPOSAL OF lOVE

Contributed by FRANCO on Saturday, 22nd April 2006 @ 10:57:15 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

There wasn’t a single night you failed
to adorn my divine dreams with thy
gentle charm – we sailed across the blue
sea, seated on the velvety clouds, whispering
to the cupid, burning flame of love I hold in my
heart ceaselessly for thee. Shyly fiddled a twinkling
star as I proposed to thee, my love -
the desire to rest my weary head on thy sweet bosom.

If there be another life, I plead to be with thee, gently hold
thy tender hand and never to stray afar from thee.
(FRANCO)

There ain't no other answer than YES YES YES YES! Hey FRANCO, I just noticed this post between to of my own and owed ya some reads 'n' comments [thanks, btw], so thought I'd mosey over here. Glad I did. Proud to be first t' tell ya that this is a gem.

As a dumb performin' cowboy poet I had t' work a little with the word/thought line placement, but as I read it a second 'n' third time, caught on that its seems to be done fer emphasis on blue, whispering, twinkling'n' such.

Thank you for some good work and I'll bet she said yes.

Cowboy
