I felt my life start to dissipate
As I walked down that desolate, dusty road
All love instantly turned to hate
As I watched my life unfold
I could not control the words I said
Saying with utter dismay
Like a “madman” on route
I’m sorry it had to end this way
I have to leave abruptly, though it was time well spent
For I cherish all the special moments
And everything they meant
You may see me again I say
If you glaze deep within the sky
For my time on this earth, was just time passing by

It's funny how we write some words in time, not knowing if we will be here today or the next. However I am glad things turned out to be better for you. Great writing. |

::applauds:: wonderful poem, though its a shame that such greatness is usually the cost of low times. i love everything in this poem, which in itself is unusual, so you did an amazing job on this. your stanzas were powerful and had originality. good word usage. wonderful rhyming. the third stanza i like most of all. |
