The space Shuttle

Contributed by Wesley_Dale_Willis on Monday, 3rd February 2003 @ 02:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

Breaking back from space,
Somewhere over Texas,
Seven within the womb,of the shuttle,
Metering sadness from the sky,
Gasping,and only swallowing,
Burning fuel,
Vaporizing in transparency,
Of flaming blue fetuses,
Unremembered only,
To be remembered,
From the fluorescent,
Burning sage,
and mesquite,
Scenting the air of smoky fragrance,
The shuttle performed miscarriage,
reborn not again,
Birthed from the atmosphere,
Stillborn,
At eighteen thousand,
Miles an hour.

A unique choice of analogy lends poignancy
to the tradgedy.

They have never got this tile business sorted.

Graphic!!!!! harsh!!!!!!!!!!!!!contrasted ( the fall out "burning sage and mesquite, Scenting the air......." )
