"Let You Walk Away"
I had my chance to love you,
I had my chance to care.
I tried so hard to convince myself,
That those feelings were really there.
And now that I have let you go,
I let you walk away,
I fight the thoughts I often think,
The words I’ll never say.
I’ve never had these feelings,
The ones deep in my soul.
I want to tell you everything,
But it’s not my place to show.
So I’ll sit here on the sidelines,
And let you walk away.
I’ll sit and watch you live your life,
Without me in the way.
