Hello grampa; remember me?
I was here yesterday; we watched a movie together
Grampa are you there; can you here me
Yesterday you hugged me; that was a good day
Remember my name grampa; my name is Laura
Can you remember me; I'm your only granddaughter
I come to see you everyday; can't you remember?
Can't you look at me; today must be a bad day
I brought you some candy; see, its your favorite
Don't worry grampa; I haven't given up
I'll come back to see you; I'll be here tomorrow
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day; I love you grampa
Please get better; I miss you grampa

Very touching. This runs in my family so I can identify totally. Very stirring. Enjoyed reading it.

My great grandmother had this and i was very sad when we put her in a home. Your Poem is the truth of the pain we feel with our loved ones not remembering. |
