Father-Time Ancient-of-Days

Oft’ my spirit went ‘in dreams’ to Father-time/ Ancient-of-days
No human words can ev’r describe the wonders of His ways
My friend, and I, we asked to see- Eternal-clock of time.
From that, for which He showed us, was the turning of mind.
Being drawn into His eyes, I was captivated by such thoughts.
So I requested the pleasure of His majestic thoughts, wrought…
“Always…inside,” instead of my carnal head.
The cost: “killing of my mind“ over time, He said.
This wasn’t my first trip to this bearded-white comforting King.
Noticing the fire-lake before His throne as the angels did sing.
So many times Father-time enfolded me within his loving arms.
Barely I recall his foretelling, of Victory’s Day from alarm.
There’s many dimensions of this stately white-bearded Father.
My own dad never took the time to comfort, didn’t really bother.
His clothing is white as snow, there are wheels there all ablaze.
The times Father would comfort me I'd rest calm, as in a daze.
One like the son of man came, approaching the Ancient-of-Days.
Dan. 7:13 relates, this son of man was given power over frays.
Messiah’s dominion is everlasting, that will never be destroyed.
oft' I'd visit my Fatherly wonder as the angels safely convoyed.

Woo… most of our poets in YPDC are turning on their focus to guided tour. But your tour is some what unique. You took us all to the paradise., and my ..my… look even our Father has long white beard . Friend you have got one rich imagination I must say.
On the whole it is a good poem.

I am so glad that you have joined us here, at YPDC. You have such a visual talent. You are imaginative, explorative, deeply spiritual, and elegant in your wording. I feel as though a queen of sorts has joined our kingdom. Though I feel she is only wanting to be a part of the common village, she shines with the royalty. Your talent never ceases to amaze me Milly. SHINE ON MY DEAR!
SHINE ON!

Spiritually uplifting and thoughtprovoking.
Incredible depth of imagery.
What a blessing it is for us to have such a close relationship with our heavenly Father.
He is always only a thought and a prayer away. Excellent~

Excellent poem. As when Isaiah saw the Lord, sitting on a throne, High and lifted up, and his train filled the Temple, etc.
