Fading away, Slowly
Withdrawal from you
I want to leave
LET ME OUT!
But you pull me in
Pretend you care
But, you're not there
Ever
Always something more
More important, more
More needy.
I need you too
Or so I thought
The fading makes second guessing easy
Feelings erode, emotions are slowly
Slowly suffocated
By your hands, not mine
Are you to blame?
No one's perfect, but
You're the farthest from it
Me? Fading?
You don't even notice
When I'm gone who then?
Who takes your blame?
Who sacrifices?
Who will lose every battle for you?

I definately understand this but trust me there is worse that can happen. If there are things that need to change - change them. Time is too short to not atleast try to enjoy life. |

Anguish and frustration is strong here. One thing I learned when I was married is that a good marriage or relationship is the union of two good forgivers....but it takes two.
Keep your chin up and keep putting those feelings in poems. It helps.
my best to you both,
