She knows he loves her, he just can't show it.
She still tries to be Daddy's little girl.
Hes schedual's to busy, she doesn't fit.
She won't forget deep down she means his world.
It's hard to still believe, when he won't try.
She fished, learned to ride, played sports, nothing works.
Maybe it's something hard work won't defy.
She tries to forget but the past still lurks.
He says things will change nothing ever does.
But when she sees him she forgives it all.
Then he's gone and it's just like it was.
She wants daddy to catch her if she falls.
Won't even change when he hears her crying.
His love can't be found, she's slowly dying.

I know how this one feels. My dad is gone . . .I only hope that if i get the chance I can be a dad who can spend time with his kids. |

I can totally relate to this poem. I have a Dad that's pretty much like that.

Very Touching, my father has disowned me and he longer listened to me. I know how this feels and it's hard to get over.
