Another Project

Contributed by wizard on Wednesday, 19th April 2006 @ 12:58:16 AM in AEST
Topic: ThankYouPoems

Another project underway
Another hour turned into day
With hammer, nails and all in hand
Again with the strength of a brothers band

This path we’ve walked not long ago
With thoughts that this would soon follow
With aching backs and a pounding knee
Not as limber as we used to be!

New wires, pipes, walls and floors
Soon some paint and a couple of doors
Cabinets, counters, even the kitchen sink
Each day we watch this workload shrink

You’ve been by my side through it all
Be it spreading plaster on a wall,
Or some two by fours cut to size…
So quick...it’s hard to believe my eyes

And once again I convey my gratitude
(and apologize for any poor attitude!)
I hope that you will always know…
Couldn’t of done it without ya bro

Thanks Bro!!

bro..
first, let me say that my help will ALWAYS be forth-coming.. you know this.
It's always been a pleasure.. if even just hangin' out and breakin' bread-

Thanks a lot.. I am truly honored by this..
..buy a thousand houses.. I'll be there for every one.

Forever..

WOnderful write, for having someone to always be there, no matter what. The relationship talked about in this write, is incrediable. Some will never have or will ever see, that being able to relate to a sibling is joy.Yall share what most others long for...Forever.!!!!

P~

What a moving post. Just like the first thank you poem, this one is full of
warmth and gratitude, but it is positively spilling over with the emotion from
the bond you two share. It's such a joy to witness. There is a saying . . . family
by coincidence, friends by choice. You guys are living proof of this statement.

We should all be as lucky.

Perfectly penned and touching to the end. Completely enjoyable!

A beautiful, touching write written for a very remarkable and special guy, ~*Billy*~.
Brothers who share a special bond like this are very rare.
May urs last a lifetime and beyond.
