Normal?

Topic: AngryPoetry

People can be so cold.
To use the word "normal" is so bold.
Labeling each other from there sheltered little eyes.
Save your lil comments until it is time to say your goodbyes.

Do you not understand that words can hurt worse than being beaten?
One day something will happen and your words must be eaten.
It is ya'lls minds that are so hollow
Go on through your blind eyes and follow.

If you could only see the pain that you cause.
Picking on others throughout the crowded halls.
One day you will get your chance.
Someone will laugh when you do your "dance."

Until then, karma can be a *****.
Then you will wish...
That you had never said those things in which you take part.
When you finally found out u've hurt someone's heart.

I didn't really feel the anger through the words. It seemed more of a removed feeling of observation. But I can tell there is something trying to get out.

This reminds of what my husband said about his NDE. The pain and hurt we cause others,
we will feel that pain and hurt ourselves one day. I think if everyone knew this they would be more careful with what they say and do to others. Great poem. Enjoyed it.
