Change of Life

The time has come because
every morning I have the blahs.
A deep realization gnaws
as I have discovered the cause.
A new problem to add to my flaws
a change of life draws.
My body has taken a pause
no estrogen where it once was.
Some may celebrate this with hurrahs
but night sweats produce no guffaws.
Anxiety causes aches in the jaws
hot flashes drive me to spas.
Depression is only for outlaws
I join the ranks of the grandmas.
I am now grasping at straws
to find an out for menopause
in the subclause.

Why do they call it a men-o-pause?
When it's apparently a woman thing?
Trust me! my lifes been pausing for a while now!
Great poem full of wit.

Beautiful Katt and so wise!
The Grown-ups too have to grow and develop.
Begins after midlife
New phases of development from the biological development of .children.
You bring this out (imply it so beautifully and insightsfully.
Thanks a lot for ringing this important bell!
Hugs
