Lie awake in dead of night
What nightmare lurks, that causes fright
Thoughts of the future, thoughts of the past
Baptism of fire, or arctic blast
Emotions fight within my mind
Serene, tranquil being, or killing kind
Fight with the demon, inside my brain
Kill myself, to live again?
Drenched in cold sweat, frightening form
A sleepless reminder of the gathering storm.....
