What have I done

Contributed by Kevin on Monday, 17th April 2006 @ 03:05:21 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

What Have I Done?

Alone I sit, thoughts in my mind
Staring into space
Thinking of your face
And how you’ve been so unkind

Thinking of life only as an illusion
Nothing is real
No pain I feel
Drowning in my confusion

I sit in my desolation
Consumed by all this frustration
Regretting this obligation
Having a revelation
Of my life

Breaking my concentration
For your fascination
Feeling the domination
Of your vindication
To me

Pondering the question related to my lifelong fate…
When did I become the type of man that a woman learns to hate?

Ripping myself from this isolation
Running from the conflagration
Sick of this desperation
Recognizing the indication
I flee

Realizing my aspiration
Checking my calculation
Gaining my liberation
Done with my aggravation
I am free

Free from the bonds you hold me by
Free from you
Nothing to do
But to spread my wings and fly

Life is good, I am well
To you I say
Good day
I’ll see you in hell
