It’s amazing how I lose the words as I kneel by this bed
The words that flow so endlessly suddenly disappear
It’s been so long, I’ve forgotten how to say the things I need to say
Things I’ve kept inside, full of fear and humiliation
Things I’ve kept from you, scared that you’d turn a deaf ear too
Words to describe the feelings deep inside, but I’m left blind
What a phenomenon, this poets mind is finally void
Void of anything I could say to make sense of the madness I feel
And I forget one important thing; you made me who I am
You know my mind, my heart, my soul, my words
You know everything I want to say, everything I want to do
The fears I keep hidden inside aren’t a mystery to you
You’re the one who gives the words, who gives the rhyme, who gives the poem
The pen I hold, from which they flow, is just a tool you’ve given me
I really don’t need to say a thing; you already hear my inner thoughts…

Friend, your faith shall set you free, nothing moves with out his command so does your pen and your hand that holds. It is not your pen but you (we all) are a tool in his hand. Well done. And welcome.

To lose the words and still be content...
Good poem, it's very well written.
Take care.
