Surfing through the cobwebs of my mind
I need
To find what makes me tick
What makes me bleed
All or nothing, song's the same
Because I ask, I take the blame
Inside, I try to run away
Obsession the past
Still wonder why
The scars still last
Overwork, overachieve
All because no one believed
Blind from lust, blind from rage
Crushing power, the world's my stage
My life a contradiction
Spewing self righteous convictions
Loyal friend, or hated foe
Destroy my past, which hurt me so

I can feel your words... I have felt like this most of my life... I don't mean to sound inspirational are anything, but I have learned that the good and bad in my past effected the way I think and the way I am today. good or bad thing I'm not sure. but it never really goes away... you just learn to suppress it |
