Persistant Ghost

Contributed by pUnKa_RaCh on Sunday, 16th April 2006 @ 10:22:34 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

You disappeared; abandoned me
Yet for your haunting soul I crave
“Free me” my mind beckons
For I am your sorrowed slave

Your face of succulent truth
Does still burn through my cut up flesh
Even through a vacant photograph
Your life does with mine enmesh

I cannot forget our tragedy
As unmemorable as it may be
Still visited by crushing thoughts
Though you have forgotten me

The promises of yearning truth
That which will save and fair true
In another world will come the time
When I’ll finally forget you

The passing of much time helps the heart to mend.

I know the heartbreak of this. You expressed it much better than I could. Great job!

Rach-
I can only hope that life, for you.. in the flesh.. is better than is supposed..
I've missed you,
and your work as well..

This is beautiful and sad...
I love it-

here for you..

As always-

B
