One more barrier.
One more hurtle.
One more blockade.
One more to endure.
I sit and ponder our lives,
Our lives so intertwined.
Do you want it like I do?
Or will you simply try to run me through?
What’s one more barrier?
What’s one more hurtle?
What’s one more blockade?
What is it to endure?
I use you as a dark crutch,
It gets me through the clutch.
Do you use me as one too?
Is that the only thing I am to do?
Why one more barrier?
Why one more hurtle?
Why one more blockade?
Why should I try to endure?
