Forsaken

Brother, why have you forsaken me?
why must I shake my skin like a snake,
why does honesty always lose?
why does corruption, chaos take it's place,
why do we feel so much,
yet have so little words to say,
Brother, they say you bear my sins,
but even on this beautiful Easter morning,
I can't envision that ever happening,
you left me once
I feel not your rising, but your teaching,
but how can I have faith that a physcial man,
literally flesh, ressureccted,
could take place,
tis downplayed, but is the cornerstone
of Christianity,
A religion based on mysticism,
either conciously or not leaving other humans in submission,
sick, twisted, like a snake slithers,
Brother did you rise for me?
Or was I always
Forsaken,
played games with,
judged, enslaved by human imagination,
yes I am from the tribe of David,
I do have sins that have yet to be paid yet,
brother you are my friend,
but you are not God, do not trivilize the omnipotent force,
that has already saved my people.
