a green dot hangs aloft over the dock like a shimmering smile that's about to fade
as he looks out, he sees it as a crazy beautiful diomand from his dreams
then he stares at it, not greedily by any means
but in a content way that does not match the hollow chamber of his heart

it's amazing how great you can be if you just believe
"can't repeat the past? why? of course you can"
of course you can, he will do what you can of course
so he keeps adding on to his collosal palace in his mind

day by day, year by year; it grew higher and bigger
the grand construction is almost complete
do you think it will remain as finished?
why? of course it will remain
for it has too much weight in its constitutes to crumble under any kind of stress
