I lay in my bed, desperate for someone’s affection
Longing for love and the need for it's protection
Usually we find love when we least expect it
How many times have you found love and then hastily
rejected it?
Can you handle sweet love and the pain that comes with it?
Do you feel your time of love has passed and you have
missed it?
Is your love in a place that only you can find?
Is it deep within you, nestled in the depths of your mind?
Can you spread your love and give it to others as well?
Or is your love a secret that only you can tell?
Are you lonely? Do you need loving arms around you?
Have you experienced the many things that only love can do?
Are you cold? Do you need love to keep you warm?
Has love been your rock and has it weathered you through
the storm?
Why are you so confused about love? What can it be?
Has love blinded you and now you are unable to see?
Has love frightened you and now you lay lonely in the dark?
Is your love a lingering fire started by a distant spark?
Can I have your love, can you give it to me?
Can I take your love and can your love set me free?
Can love truly be shared by a girl and a boy?
Can love bring you happiness and feelings of joy?
What is love? Can someone please explain?
How many times has love left you standing alone in the
rain?
If you die alone, without the feeling of love
Will you still feel the glory of Heaven above?
If I drink from the waters of loves endless well
Will I be purified from the burning fires of Hell?
If I don't drink will I just lay there and thirst?
Tell me who is more important, your last love or your
first?
Enough of these questions, I just need to feel love
Please push me through loves door all I need is a shove
Before this ends, may I stop and make one final suggestion
Love is something to be cherished, love is not a question
