LOVE
From the very beginning of man
Love? What is it we will ask?
Automatic? Designed, preplan........
Physical, spiritual, unnamed task?
Love is kind, Love is unselfish....
It doesn't look for it's own interest,
Anguish is not it's sister, but cherishes
oneself first, and others to their finest!
It is loyal beyond pure loyalty
Builds up, and never tears down.
Love's eyes only see the beauty
Creates smiles 'ner a frown
Trying circumstances it will endure
To give up is not in it's vocabulary
Denotes confidence to be sure, secure.
Love must be cultivated daily.
Without it you will surely die.
A heart without love is empty
Withers to nothingness n'er supply
Never forsake Love for it is comely.
Cannot be kept unless given away
It understands human weaknesses
Love must be forgiving like it's Author,
Endowed in us by our Loving Creator.

You know the greatest piece of writing I've ever read about this subject is in the bible.
1st of corinthians 13 I believe...
But that's not taking a word away from your definiton which is also very powerfully written.
I think I can just about manage the full 5 stars for this one!
