Roller Coster Ride

Up and down
This roller costers sound
Can't get off this never ending ride
It just keeps going
Over and around.
Love has strapped me down
Making me fall fast
Then the bough breaks
And down down I go
Leaving the love in light
As i fall into darkness.
The night chill fills my soul
My breath fails
As my tears fall.
Crystals filling my heart
A heart that is now black as coal.
Then I can feel it
The warmth on my frozen skin.
The melodies of voices calling out to me
Giving my soul wings.
I open my eyes and smile
I step off the roller coster
Hope renewed
I begin to live again
