Is love for real, or a daggar of the mind?
There's no other feeling that can compare to it's kind
Feel like you're flying, makes you walk on air
And at other times leaves you in despair
What's funny about love, is that it appears in strange ways
It sometimes makes you so sad, that you can't sleep for days
Other times it's pleasure, so intense, it drives you nuts
But it can also leave scars, deep emotional cuts
That sometimes never heal, but you must go on with life
Cause the longer you grieve, the deeper cuts the knife

This was written the year I was born and its true for me 17 yrs later. Yes love hurts... their is only one feeling that can compare and that is depression. This was a great write and so painfully true.
