Tropical Awakening

An aroma of sweet Plumeria
wafts along in vapors of steam
where cascading water lave silken skin
Allured by it's intoxicating fragrance
I make my way to the slightly cracked door
Condensation, trickling down the mirror
creates waterfall visions before my eyes
Through misty haze,
a goddess-like figure materializes
Arms extended upward
like a delicate tropical flower,
drenched in morning dew
opening it's petals at the first hint of sunrise
Smooth buttermilk skin glistening as
crystal-like rivulets spiral downward
along the soft subtle curves of her flesh
Drawing back the flowered curtain
I enter Paradise
immersed in a shower of beauty
