So Confused

Yes, I loved you more than life
You cut me worse than a knife

I thought we would make it
You made it perfectly clear we didn't fit

When I needed you most you left
You left me, knowing how I felt

After all this time, It's me you love?
How can I be sure we can rise above?

You promised to be true this time
Last time I was just so blind

I want to love you back
What if there is so much we lack?

We said forever once
It didn't work out for us

If I try again
Am I setting myself up for pain?

So Confused

What if I make the wrong decision?
By believing in yet another proposition
