Springs infamous bliss

Contributed by Dragontear27 on Friday, 14th April 2006 @ 01:23:24 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Shimmering crystals fall from the sky
wetting everything that is dry
bringing back the life from the frozen sleep
melting away the winter's keep

Upon the fields the ground sparkles like shards of glass
a sight you'd not want to pass
rivers overflowing with the spring's rebirth
giving life back to the earth

The rose's pedals yearning for the sun's golden rays
it seems like a mirage upon one's first gaze
a butterfly spreads the wings on it's first flight
letting go of the ground to which it held so tight

The sky opens up and the clouds dispurse
recovering from the darkened curse
spring has come...rise from the ashes lift your spirits
the birds have just begun to sing, can't you hear it?

Pretty good poem
Add some delightful descriptive adjectives
And remember to listen for the resounding pulsing beat
Of the heart or meaning of your wonderful poem.
Remember this as often as you continue to write

With the words, you say, some might not quite agree.
However, the words you say are your story to tell.
Only you can tell your story the way that it ought to be.
The way you tell your story is what makes it sell.
