ive never believed in love at first sight
its always seemed kind of lame
love is not something that can happen over night,
its about way to many things to name.
i used to think this with all of my heart
and i would have told you if you had asked.
until i saw her face, and i knew from the start
that i was in love, and it happened so fast.
my palms started to sweat,
my heart, it was pounding.
and we hadnt even met,
but my love was abounding.
i tried to think of ways to catch her eye
because i knew if i could get her attention,
i could convince her that she should be mine.
she would say she loved me without any apprehension.
but all my plans failed
although i tried again and again,
i thought i had her nailed...
how was i to know she is a lesbian?

What luck, lol. Out of all the things she had to be a lesbian. My heart goes out to ya.
