What are you looking for?
Better yet, who are you looking for?
I never wanted to get you in the traditional way
I only wanted you to realize that I'm the one you want
My eyes are what you need
We're much more similar than you think
We feel the same about so many things
Look inwards and maybe you'll see me latching on to the back of your mind
Blinding you from all you used to see
So tell me who you're looking for
And tell me what you need
All I can do is pray to God
That someday it will be me

This poem reminds me of a song;
"I'm right on target my aim is straight
so you're in love I say 'what of it'
If you want solid ground come on and try me
I can take you so high that you're never gonna want to come down"
Quote from the song "Drop the Pilot" |
